Service Description

Learn all the essential skills required for winter walking in the Scottish mountains. Our friendly and professional instructors will share years of experience in a safe and enjoyable manor. You will leave feeling confident and inspired to take to the hills with friends.

Cancellation Policy

You will be issued a full refund if you are unable to attend your course for COVID reasons. If you would like to cancel a course over a month before the course start date, we will charge a £20 cancellation fee to cover the associated admin costs. If you cancel 30-7 days prior to course you will lose your deposit. If you choose to cancel less than a week before the course starts, you will lose you full course fee (unless a replacement is found in which case only deposit lost). We advise taking out cancellation, curtailment and accident insurance. If HAS cancels a course for any reason, including illness, all of your fees will be refunded. Courses require a certain ratio to run, if these ratios are not met then the course will not run and a full refund will be available. HAS staff will communicate with clients to keep them updated on this matter.
